The United Way of PEI is excited to invite Islanders to our 2nd Annual United by Song event, taking place on Wednesday, October 16th at the Confederation Centre of the Arts beginning at 7 PM.
United by Song is a celebration of our community and a thank you to those who help make it stronger through their support of the United Way.
Four inspiring Islanders will share their personal stories with four local artists. Each artist will write an original song inspired by the strength and resiliency of the storyteller. During the show, the storytellers will share and the musicians will debut their songs - shining a light on the critical issues, possibility and talent found right here at home.
This year’s show will debut original songs written and performed by Jenni & The Hummingbird, Logan Richard, Jill Chandler, Fraser McCallum and John Connolly with stories shared from participants of PEERS Alliance, CNIB, Sierra Club PEI's Wild Child Program and the PEI Reach Foundation.
FREE tickets for United by Song can be booked through the Confederation Centre Box Office in person, by phone (902) 566-1267, or quickly and easily online: https://confederationcentre.com/whats-on/united-way-united-by-song/. There will be a reception in Memorial Hall following the show for a chance to meet the storytellers and artists involved the evening's performance.
