Reporting to the Vice-President, Community Impact
Strategy, this role is at the forefront of shaping how we understand, measure,
and amplify the impact of our programs and services across communities. As the
Research & Evaluation Advisor, you will be designing bold evaluation
strategies, building a culture of learning, and empowering staff and partners
to use data to create change.
The key responsibilities of the role include:

Champion
a culture of evaluation across UWM and the communities we serve—making data
meaningful, accessible, and actionable.
·
Design
and lead evaluations—from small-scale assessments to large, strategic impact
studies.
·
Develop
logic models and theories of change that bring clarity and focus to our
programs and strategies.
·
Support
internal teams and funded partners in building their capacity to collect,
manage, and interpret data.
·
Lead
engaging trainings and workshops that demystify data and inspire evidence-based
decision-making.
· Analyze and share insights from national, regional, and local data to inform strategy and spark innovation.
·
Identify
research gaps and forge partnerships to deepen our understanding of community
needs and opportunities.
Additional Qualifications:
·
3-5
years’ experience in designing, conducting and supporting community-based
program evaluations and/or social services research.
·
Demonstrated
experience developing program logic models and Theory of Change models.
·
Excellent
written, verbal communication skills and presentation skills with the ability
to communicate with a broad range of stakeholders.
·
Ability
to capture, analyze and synthesize information and prepare user-friendly
business documents, reports and briefing materials accurately.
·
Proficiency
in a variety computer software application (e.g. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and
Outlook), databases and presentation software etc.

compensation package including salary, group retirement savings plan
contribution, health and dental benefits, generous vacation time, and
professional development and training. The salary range for this position
